<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater capable of being used without shortage of hot water even when heat insulating performance is impaired by abnormality of a heat insulating material and the like, and notifying a user of necessity of maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 3 for controlling this hot water storage type water heater memorizes radiation property database corresponding to an environmental temperature, calculates a permitted value of the amount of heat radiation in the amount of use of supplied hot water on the basis of radiation property database, calculating the amount of heat consumption used from a hot water storage tank 1 by hot water supply, further calculates the amount of added heat by motion of a water supply heating device 2, determines the total amount of heat radiation by calculation of adding the difference of the heat storage amounts of the hot water storage tank 1 between the start of use and the termination of use of the hot water storage type water heater, and the difference between the amount of added heat and the amount of heat consumption, calculates the final target heat storage amount by adding the total amount of heat radiation to the initial target heat storage amount calculated on the basis of the past record of the use of hot water by the day before, and heats and controls the water supply heating device 2 according to the final target heat storage amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
