PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed sheet paper made of two sheets of paper stuck together without using a special driving mechanism. SOLUTION: A sticking and conveying device 2 which conveys and sticks together two sheets of paper 3a, 3b supplied from a feeding machine 1 includes a first and a second conveyance path 5, 6 for conveying the first and the second sheet of paper from the feeding machine. A sideway moving mechanism is also provided in which, in accordance with the conveyance motion on each of the two conveyance paths, the sheets are moved sideways obliquely to each prescribed position on one side orthogonal to the conveying direction and in which, by this sideway moving operation, the inside ends of the two sheets of paper are superimposed over a prescribed width. In addition, in the midway stream of one of the two conveyance paths, a height varying mechanism is provided by which the height of the inside end of one of the two sheets of paper conveyed on the conveyance paths and moved sideways is varied relative to the inside end of the other of the sheets of paper. Then, in the downstream part of the conveyance paths, the superimposed part of the two sheets of paper are made ready to be stuck together. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
