PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chiller capable of removing frost formed on an evaporator with low energy. SOLUTION: The chiller comprises a heat sink 2 provided in a non-refrigerated area 300, antifreeze liquid pipes 6, 11 circularly connecting the evaporator 1 and the heat sink 2 for circulating antifreeze liquid 8 from the non-refrigerated area 300 to the evaporator 1 and a circulation pump 4 installed on the antifreeze pipe 11 for circulating the antifreeze liquid 8, wherein the evaporator 1 is provided with both a flow path 10 for a refrigeration cycle and a flow path 9 for circulating the antifreeze liquid 8.
