PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner capable of receiving a plurality of kinds of broadcast, preventing deterioration in reception performance, achieving miniaturization, and reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The tuner 101 includes: a mixer circuit 4 for frequency-converting a received RF signal into an IF signal by multiplying the RF signal by a local oscillation signal corresponding to first broadcast or second broadcast; a first demodulating circuit 11 for generating a first demodulation signal corresponding to the first broadcast by demodulating the IF signal subjected to the frequency division; a second demodulating circuit 13 for generating a second demodulation signal corresponding to the second broadcast by demodulating the IF signal subjected to the frequency division; and clock control circuits 15, 16 for switching between operations of stopping the demodulation operation of the first demodulation circuit 11 by stopping the output of a clock to the first demodulation circuit 11 and of stopping the demodulation operation of the second demodulation circuit 13 by stopping the output of a clock to the second demodulation circuit 13.
