A dynamic pressure bearing device which can achieve, at low cost, high precision and high strength of a member having a thrust dynamic pressure generating portion, and can stably maintain high bearing performance over a long term. The bearing is provided at low cost. A housing (7) has a closed bottom tubular shape where a flat plate disk-like flat portion (7b) and a circular tube-like side portion (7a) extending in the axial direction from the outside diameter end of the flat portion (7b) are integrated together, and the housing (7) is an MIM molding. On an upper end surface (7b1) of the flat portion (7b) of the housing (7) is formed by press working a thrust dynamic pressure generating portion (C) for generating dynamic pressure action in a thrust bearing gap of a second thrust bearing portion (T2).
