摘要 |
A method for production of a substrate with a metal glass or ceramic surface is disclosed, provided with a glassy layer containing an interference pigment, wherein pigments with dielectric interference layers are milled using a wet-milling method, preferably to a particle size below 6 µm, dispersed in a suspension containing a silicate and the suspension applied to the metal, glass, or ceramic surface as a coating composition and compacted at a temperature of not above 650°C to form the glassy layer containing the comminuted interference pigments. The wet-milling of the interference pigments permits production of high quality glassy layers on metal, glass, or ceramic surfaces without the optical effects achievable with the interference pigments being affected by the comminution. |
