The valve has a valve housing (11), and a valve seat body (13) fixed in the housing. A valve opening (15) and a valve seat (16), which cooperates with a valve closing body (18) to open and close the valve opening and encloses the valve opening, are formed in the valve seat body. Radially abutted regions of the valve seat body and the valve housing are separated from each other by an intermediate layer (21) made of an elastically compressible material e.g. elastomer. The radially abutted regions between the valve seat body and the housing are provided at an upper end of the valve seat body.
