摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an uneven power-generation distribution caused by an uneven flow-rate distribution of reaction gas flowing on the surface of a membrane-electrode assembly in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell is provided with a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA), which is formed by joining each catalyst electrode (an anode side catalyst layer or a cathode side catalyst layer) on each of both faces of an electrolyte membrane, and each flow-path constituting member respectively laminated on the surface of each catalyst electrode so as to make reaction gas to be supplied to each catalyst electrode flow therein. A plane shape at the power generation part used for power generation in each catalyst electrode is set so that a power generation amount per unit area at each power generation part of the membrane-electrode assembly is almost equal to each other on the basis of a flow-rate distribution of reaction gas in each flow-path constituting member laminated on the surface of each catalyst electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
