<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely clean a top sealer of an end seal device without disassembling the device. <P>SOLUTION: This end seal device has a drive mechanism 33 moving a top sealer with the seal surfaces of the top sealer 31a and 31b faced to each other, a first conveyance belt device 71a arranged at the upstream side of the top sealer, and a second conveyance belt device 72b arranged at the downstream side of the top sealer, and both the conveyance belts move forwardly and backwardly so that the tip of the top sealer side follows the movement of the top sealer in the forward-backward direction. The end sealer further has guide means 92 and 98 capable of moving the tip of the second conveyance belt device at the top sealer side in the forward-backward direction without being synchronized with the movement of the top sealer, and fixing means 100 and 92a each preventing the movement by the guide means in a position where the tip of the second conveyance belt device at the top sealer side is close to the top sealer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
