PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid concentration of stresses on an outer lead.

SOLUTION: At an end part of a glass tube 40, a conductive ferrule 50 is provided, comprising its body 51 equipped with a contact part 52 to be attached in free electrical conduction to a relay connector 14 (a bearing means) and mounted on an outer periphery of the glass tube 40, and a conductive piece 57 extended from the body 51 so as to be in elastic contact with an outer lead 42. The outer lead 42 will not be under load due to the weight of a discharge tube 15, and only the conductive piece 57 is in elastic contact therewith, thus concentration of stresses on the outer lead 42 can be circumvented.
