<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative ion generating device capable of supplying negative ions in the atmosphere with stability even if the device is not equipped with an air blowing fan and with opposed electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage difference between an electric discharge electrode 21 and a case 26 sufficient for generating corona electric discharge at a needle tip of the discharge electrode 21 is generated in an extended period of time with stability by setting a volume specific resistivity of the attaching member 24 to which the discharge electrode 21 is attached higher than that of the case 26 to which the attaching member 24 is attached, and the generated negative ions are accelerated by an action of lines of electric force 7 and an ion wind and supplied into the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
