<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure supporting device and its installation method capable of coping with all tiles, inexpensive, easy to work on, and resistant to rain leakage. <P>SOLUTION: The structure supporting device comprises a base fixing plate, a mounting base, and a waterproof cover. The base fixing plate is fixed to a roof body under a tile having a polygonal hole. The mounting base comprises fixing parts fixed to the base fixing plate, and a mounting part which penetrates the polygonal hole and protrudes higher than the part of the tile which is farthermost from the roof body to mount the structure or a pedestal for fixing the structure. The waterproof cover comprises a mounting base cover part for covering the mounting base exposed outside from the polygonal hole, and a tile cover part covering the tile.
