<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle contributable to preventing a theft, by realizing an actuator of a strong cover fastening structure, for enduring an intentional damaging act without increasing its weight so much in a fastening part of the actuator. <P>SOLUTION: In this cover structure of the actuator, a casing 33 of the actuator 21 for storing conversion mechanisms 31 and 32 in the casing 33 for converting input energy into mechanical motion, has a metallic cover fastening part 34 and a cover member 37 integrally attached with a metallic fastening part 36 fastened to the cover fastening part 34. The cover member 37 is composed of a metallic cover part 38 and a resin cover part 39. The metallic cover part 38 has a central part 38a covering a part of the conversion mechanism and an extension part 38b extended to the vicinity of the metallic fastening part 36 so as to be opposed to the cover fastening part 34 from its central part 38a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
