PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust catcher for blast furnace gas, which enables a decrease in wear due to dust. SOLUTION: The dust catcher separates dust from an exhaust gas discharged from a blast furnace and has a constitution that an expanding pipe 9 with the lower end opened, into which the exhaust gas containing dust is introduced, is arranged inside a container 1, wherein a plurality of cyclones 11 are arranged around the inside of the container 1, and an exhaust pipe 5 flowing out the exhaust gas from which the dust is separated in the container is provided on the upper part of the container 1. The catcher is characterized in that a partition plate 10 is provided at an upper peripheral position of the expanding pipe 9, the inside of the container 1 is divided above and below into an area separating the dust with the cyclone 11 from the gas flowing out of the expanding pipe 9 on the downside of the partition plate 10, and an area discharging the gas from which the dust is separated with the cyclone 11, into the exhaust pipe 5 on the upper side of the partition plate 10, and a gas excurrent duct 13 of the cyclone 11 flowing out the gas from which the dust is separated is opened on the area of the upper side of the partition plate 10.
