PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic device which adjust positions of a top plate and/or an X-ray system automatically in order to maintain a relative location among an X-ray irradiation direction, the X-ray system, and a concerned part of a subject of an X-ray system; a relative location between the X-ray system and the concerned part of the subject; or a rostrocaudal location of the concerned part of the subject when the top plate carrying a subject or a holding device holding the X-ray system is moved. SOLUTION: An X-ray system rotates longitudinally against a top plate 1 at a rotation angleϕ, and a control section decides a tilting angleθof the top plate 1 asθ=ϕwhen a central axis of an X-ray beam transfers from R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>2</SB>and decides a longitudinal travel distance A' and a vertical travel distance B' of the top plate 1 assuming that the concerned part has been transferred from Q<SB>1</SB>to Q<SB>2</SB>as the tilting angleθof the top plate 1 has been transferred. By adjusting the location of the top plate 1 based on these values, the relative location between an X-ray irradiation source and a concerned part Q of the subject is maintained.
