PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token passage detection sensor capable of preventing the erroneous token counting operation caused by a fraudulence using light, and to provide a loaded token selector for a game machine. SOLUTION: The token passage detection sensor detects token passage by position relation where an optical axis to a light receiving element from a projecting element after projection is made to be crossed with a token passage with the passage of a predetermined size of tokens, first and second detecting means for detecting the optical axis are juxtaposed along the passage direction, and there exist a detection area overlapped in juxtaposing parts and a detection area which is not overlapped concerning the respective detection areas of the both detecting means. An optical reflection member for reflecting disturbance light is interposed on the optical axes of the detecting means, and a disturbance light detecting element is arranged in the reflecting direction of the disturbance light which is reflected against the optical reflection member.
