PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clasp for string type accessories, a clasp that can be used for connecting a string of pearls in line and also in parallel with one clasp and that looks beautiful as well as feeling good in use. SOLUTION: The clasp includes a first and a second fasteners for holding spherical jewelry and a connecting member for connecting these fasteners. These fasteners are each composed of hemispherical first and second holding members and a hinge that pivotally fixes these holding members so as to make them freely opened and closed. In each of these fasteners, there are formed a first, a second, and a third holes when the holding members are closed. The first hole of the fasteners is used for making the string type accessories in which strung pearls are connected in line, while the second and third holes are used for making the string type accessories in which strung pearls are connected in parallel.
