A screw compressor is provided to prevent lubricant fail, extent the service life of lubricant and bearing, and implement high speed operation by cooling the lubricant with the cooling pipe passing through the lubricant reservoir of the bearing. A screw compressor(1) comprises a rotor chamber(3), a pair of male screw rotor(4) and female screw rotor(5) which are contained in the rotor chamber and engage with each other, bearings(12,13) for supporting the rotor shaft of the screw rotor, bearing chambers(10,11) including an oil reservoir for storing lubricant and maintaining the bearings, and cooling pipes(26,27) passing through the oil reservoir and connected to the rotor chamber in order to provide the rotator chamber with coolant. |
