<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fermented food which contains cellooligosaccharide and vegetable lactobacillus, and is suppressed of fermentation, and to provide food or a medicinal drug composition produced by using the cellooligosaccharide and the vegetable lactobacillus. <P>SOLUTION: The fermented food produced by using the vegetable lactobacillus is suppressed in fermentation through the addition of the cellooligosaccharide.
