<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering hanger beam that makes it easy to arrange peripheral parts, while increasing the degree of freedom in creating a shape of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: In the steering hanger beam 1, which extends in a width direction of a vehicle and connected to left and right front pillars P, a main member 3, which supports a steering device, and a front and rear pair of transverse beam portions 10, 20, which are offset longitudinally from an axis J of the main member 3, are provided continuously in the width direction of the vehicle.
