<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl louver capable of absorbing impact energy when impact force is added near a parting portion of the cowl louver. <P>SOLUTION: The cowl louver 13 is disposed between a cowl panel 12 supporting a lower edge of a vehicle windshield 11 and a hood panel 14 of a hood, has a parting portion 13d abutting on a rear edge of the hood panel through a sealing member at a front edge and exposing to a rear side of the rear edge of the hood panel, downwardly forming a space between the front edge and the parting portion in a recessed shape, and joining a lower portion of the recessed part to a cowl front panel 12e projecting to a front side of the cowl panel. A parting wall 13e is arranged to extend from the parting portion to a joint portion to a front panel portion of the cowl panel, and the parting wall is equipped with a bending portion 13f projecting backward in a vertical cross section extending in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
