<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a light emitting element coating, the composition excellent in transparency, hardly causing a yellow state or decomposition and degradation even at a high temperature, and excellent in heat resistance, UV ray resistance and moisture heat resistance, and to provide a light emitting element using the composition, and a method for manufacturing a composition for a light emitting element coating. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for a light emitting element coating is obtained by mixing, in an organic solvent in the presence of a basic compound, an acidic compound or a metal chelate compound, (A) metal oxide fine particles and (B1) a polyfunctional polysiloxane or the like obtained by reacting a polyfunctional polysiloxane (b1) having an alkoxy end group and a specified weight average molecular weight expressed by an average composition formula (1):R<SP>1</SP><SB>a</SB>SiO<SB>b</SB>(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>c</SB>, with a polydimethyl siloxane (b2) having a hydroxyl end group and a specified weight average molecular weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
