PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore vaporized mapping information.

SOLUTION: Either all or part of mapping information, which is stored in a volatile memory, is written to a nonvolatile storage area. When the target of the write to the nonvolatile storage area is a portion of the mapping information, an information element required to restore the mapping information, from among a plurality of information elements constituting the mapping information, is written to the nonvolatile storage area as the portion of the mapping information.
