<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the tone and quality of a sound reproduced by an electric signal converted by a piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: This conversion device 22 is mounted to a body 16 of a stringed instrument 10 and provided to convert the vibration of strings 11 into electric signals. The conversion device 22 comprises an adhesive layer 24 bonded to a reinforcing member 20 of the body 16; an intermediate layer 25 provided at an intermediate part in the thickness direction of the adhesive layer 24; and the piezoelectric element 27 mounted to the lower face of the adhesive layer 24 through an metal plate 26. The intermediate layer 25 is formed of a different material from the adhesive layer 24, and the intermediate layer 25 is formed of wood, while the adhesive layer 24 is formed of butyl-rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
