PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction processing apparatus and a noise reduction processing method, which can perform noise reduction processing of higher precision and reduce the number of frames and the time required for convergence of noise, in comparison with conventional three-dimensional noise reduction processing. SOLUTION: In a three-dimensional noise reduction processing part 30, a noise determination part 37 determines which of image signals of a plurality of frames the noise has a large influence upon. When a feedback factor by which a noise amount detected by a noise detection part 31 should be multiplied is calculated by a feedback factor calculation part 33, the feedback factor is adjusted in a feedback factor adjustment part 38 in accordance with the determination result of the noise determination part 37 and is output to a multiplication part 34.
