PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes a long processing time since it is necessary to decide whether or not all characters on a business form are item names in a system for deciding the attributes of data by recognizing the item names described in a business form when recognizing similar business forms whose formats are different. SOLUTION: This business form recognition device for recognizing the image information of an input business form performs the business form recognition processing for recognizing the business form, decides whether it is an item name character string or not by extracting characteristics for deciding the item name character string, and recognizes the character string of a data frame according to the attributes by analyzing the attributes of the data character string when it is decided that the character string is the item name.
