PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine pressure sensor whose output line is not exposed to the outside and which is hardly influenced by an electromagnetic noise. SOLUTION: The sensor comprises a ring-shaped sensor part installed at the bottom of a plug hole and has a central through hole provided for inserting a mounting screw part of an engine plug inserted therethrough; a pipe part 4 extending from the sensor part to an opening part of the plug hole in a state installed on the plug hole; a flange-shaped noise blocking plate 4c provided at the top of the pipe part 4; an output line 3 connected with the sensor part; and a terminal metal fitting 10 connected with the output line 3, having a pin-shaped end part 10a. The terminal metal fitting 10 is disposed downward of the noise blocking plate 4c. A resin ring-shaped cap part 5 is formed by insert molding in a state enveloping a part of the terminal metal fitting 10 and the noise blocking part 4c. A cylindrical connector part 5d surrounding the pin-shaped part 10a of the terminal metal fitting 10 is molded integrally with the ring-shaped cap part 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
