PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle pushing unit for a finisher capable of carrying out construction while receiving a paving material from a dump truck by pushing even the dump truck equipped with an inrush preventing device by the finisher. SOLUTION: The vehicle pushing unit comprises a wheel base 11 placing and restricting rear wheels of the vehicle to be pushed, and a conveying device 15 supporting the wheel base. The longitudinal length L of the wheel base is set to such a length that front wheels F which are grounded when the rear wheels R are placed when the rear wheels of the vehicle to be pushed are of two-axis types, and the rear part of the wheel base is mounted to the front edge of a hopper 3 for use.
