PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage such as a vertical crack in an axial direction and a horizontal crack, etc., in a nozzle for continuous casting composed of a tubular refractory structure provided with two layer structure of an inner bore-side refractory layer and an outer periphery-side refractory layer. SOLUTION: In the nozzle for continuous casting provided with the inner bore-side refractory layer 2 facing an inner bore and the outer periphery-side refractory layer 1 positioned at the outer periphery-side of the inner bore-side refractory layer, between the inner bore-side layer 2 and the outer periphery-side layer 1, a lubricating layer 3 having a solid lubricating function, where the respective layers 1, 2 can slide each other at a shearing stress or lower not exceeding the rupture strength of the respective layers 1, 2, and a spacing layer 4 having the thickness at room temperature, with which the thickness in the inner bore is made zero by bringing the respective layers 1, 2 close contact with each other at the hot-state of the molten metal temperature level, and the produced stress to the outer periphery-side layer 1 with the heat expansion of the inner bore-side layer 2 is made lower than the rupture strength of the outer periphery-side layer 1, are arranged. Further, a shrinkable lubricating layer 5 also provided with the functions of the lubricating layer 3 and the spacing layer 4 is arranged between the inner bore-side layer 2 and the outer periphery-side layer 1.
