PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical kit for performing a surgical procedure. SOLUTION: The surgical kit includes at least two portal members and obturators which can be disposed in the at least two portal members respectively. Each portal member includes a portal housing, a portal sleeve extending from the portal housing, having a path for receiving a surgical object and a portal head with a reduced profile, an object seal adapted to establish an air-tight seal around the surgical object introduced through the object seal, and a gas injection method port permitting passage of gas injection method gas.
