PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress stirring-up of dust on a floor surface in a vacuum cleaner having a curved rear part. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has an electric blower and a power cord storage part in a vacuum cleaner body, and a cord opening part 501 for taking out the power cord 301 and a plug storage part in a vacuum cleaner body outer hull, wherein the end portion of the plug storage part is curved and an upper exhaust port 601 is provided in the lower part of the cord opening part at the end of the plug storage part.
