To apply an adhesive bond to two surfaces, where there is a light adhesion at one surface and a strong adhesion at the other, the adhesive is passed through a channel extending from a flat adhesion side of the first material to the opposite outer side of the material and/or in a straight line from the adhesive side to the outer side. The adhesive is applied from the outer side of the first material, to form a cut-back at the outer side of the first material.
