PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of soil and ground water efficiently cleaning polluted environment like soil and ground water polluted with organic compounds in a short time at low cost, and suppressing nitrogen concentration in the polluted environment.

SOLUTION: The cleaning method of soil and ground water comprises decomposing organic compounds by microorganisms in an anaerobic condition, by adding corn steep liquor and molasses to at least one of soil and ground water polluted with organic compounds.
