PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables the accurate detection of abnormal winning of prizes in any of game states. SOLUTION: A CPU 56 sets the threshold value (for example, 3) onto an abnormal prize winning determination counter when the power source is closed, the threshold value (for example, 5 or 10) when the game state is shifted to a minor win, the threshold value (for example, 192) when the game state is shifted to 16 rounds of the first jackpot, the threshold value (36, 84 or 132) when the game state is shifted to 3 rounds, 7 rounds or 11 rounds of the second jackpot. The CPU 56 decrements the values of the abnormal prize winning determination counter by 1 as each game ball wins the major prize winning slot (first or second major prize winning slot). When the value of the abnormal prize winning determination counter is down to zero, the CPU 56 determines that an abnormal winning of prizes occurs and carries out a processing for executing an abnormality alarm.
