PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a header cap for a deck material, which can maintain the quality of the deck material by enhancing the drainability of rainwater into a hollow portion of the deck material and the ventilation of the hollow portion. SOLUTION: A cap portion, which abuts on the end surface of the deck material, and a fitting portion, which is protrusively provided on the backside of the cap portion and pushed into the hollow portion of the deck material, are integrally provided in the header cap. A drip hole, the bottom side of which is provided in such a manner as to be flush with a bottom surface of the hollow portion of the deck material in the state of making the fitting portion fitted into the hollow portion of the deck material, is formed in the cap portion.
