METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING NEIGHBOR DISCOVERY MESSAGE IN IPV6 NETWORK

A method for transmitting/receiving a neighbor discovery message in ipv6 network is provided to prevent the network attack of the third party which is not permitted by ciphering and transmitting the SEND response message. The second node produces the symmetric key comprised to the random number of the fixed length for ciphering the advertisement message(S40). The advertisement message is encrypted by using the AES algorithm using the symmetric key produced(S50). The symmetric key is ciphered to the public key of the first node(S60). The second node ciphers the advertisement message, the CGA option, and the RSA signature option, and the symmetric key with public key of the first node, and produces the SEND response message including the password option(S70). The SEND response message is transmitted to the first node(S80).
