PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception characteristics in an OFDM receiver for receiving an OFDM signal by utilizing a plurality of OFDM branches. SOLUTION: The OFDM signal is demodulated to a frequency domain signal in each branch. A diversity composite section 107 composites the demodulated signal obtained from each branch. A clock reproduction section 1 reproduces the clock of the OFDM signal. A guard correlation section 2 detects the phase error of the OFDM signal. A determination section 7 identifies a branch having high reliability. A clock error correction section 8 generates a correction instruction, based on the average of the phase error in the branch having high reliability.
