PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling-off of a disk medium from a chuck part caused by shocks of dropping or the like. SOLUTION: A chuck pawl 42 is protruded from a hub body 40 by a charge spring 44, and pushed into the hub body 40 to chuck a disk medium 60 when the disk medium 60 is set on a turntable 30. The projection 24a of a disk cover 24 blocks movement of the chuck pawl 42 toward the inside of the hub body 40 caused by external shocks. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
