PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk-shaped medium lifting apparatus 33 capable of lifting up a disk-shaped medium C by smoothly turning its direction without adopting a complicated mechanism. SOLUTION: Three belts, i.e. a conveying belt 56 for putting and conveying a disk-shaped medium C, a lifting belt 57 for lifting up the disk-shaped medium C and a depression belt 58 for depressing the disk-shaped medium C lifted up by the lifting belt 57, are used. The conveying direction end part of the conveying belt 56, the lower side end part of the lifting belt 57 and the lower side end part of the depression belt 58 are arranged in close to each other, and further a space part 82 of a direction turning part 54 for smoothly turning the direction of the disk-shaped medium C is formed among these end parts by a combination of a large-diameter elastic body 85 and a small-diameter pulley 77.
