PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that dispersion injection and sealing methods excellent in mass-productivity and reliability have not been developed conventionally with respect to a particle movement type display device with partitions. SOLUTION: In the particle movement type display device wherein light reflectivity or light transmittance in the vertical direction of a cell is changed, at least one of substrates is a thin substrate deformable in a projected form, both the substrates are bonded in the peripheral part of the display device except a dispersion injection port part. In the method of manufacturing the particle movement type display device, the dispersion is injected to the display device while the thin substrate is in a projected form, and the projecting substrate is made flat, and then the injection port is sealed up. This method is applicable to panels in various sizes from a small size to a large size and injection and sealing with excellent mass-productivity are made possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
