PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate having a component originated from a plant having an improved color hue, its manufacturing method, and a molded article from the polycarbonate. SOLUTION: Provided are a polycarbonate having a component originated from a plant having improved color hue by controlling a content of F, Cl, Br and I in a polymer material and reducing the content of F, Cl, Br and I in the product polymer, and its manufacturing method and a molded article from the polycarbonate.
