<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of reducing nonuniform image density by quickening a conveying speed, and capable of restraining the scattering of a developer from a toner replenishment port. <P>SOLUTION: A developer recovery means 8 is arranged in the under side of a developing roller 11, and a developer stirring conveying means 9 is arranged horizontally along the developer recovery means 8. A developer supply means 10 is arranged in the upper side of the developer stirring conveying means 9. The developer is transferred, from the developer recovery means 8 to the developer stirring conveying means 9 via the second opening 17, and a portion that is opposed to the toner-replenishing port 16 is closed by a partitioning plate 18. The spiral pitch of the portion opposed to the toner replenishing port 16 of the developer stirring conveying means 9 is set smaller than the other so as not to make the developer splash from the toner-replenishing port 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
