<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an odontoparallaxis to be eliminated by accelerating the proper forward growth of the upper jaw. <P>SOLUTION: This jaw orthopedic device is constituted in a manner to have an upper jaw expanding utensil 41 which is fitted on the upper jaw in the mouth of a human being, and a utensil 42 to be towed which is connected with the upper jaw expanding utensil 41, and towed to the front side of the human being. Also, the utensil 42 to be towed is constituted of a left wire section 57, a right wire section 61, connecting tubes 71 and 72, and connecting wires 66 and 67. One end of the left wire section 57 is inserted in the left hole section of the upper jaw expanding utensil 41, and the other end of which protrudes to the outside of the mouth. One end of the right wire section 61 is inserted in the right hole section of the upper jaw expanding utensil 41, and the other end of which protrudes to the outside of the mouth. The connecting tubes 71 and 72 are installed on one of the left wire section 57 and the right wire section 61, and extend along a left contact section 43 and in the distance-changing direction of the left contact section 43 by an upper jaw expanding utensil adjusting mechanism 45.
