PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document reader capable of improving operability when a processing an image read out of a document is inputted. SOLUTION: Image data are acquired from the set document and the acquired image data are stored. A reduced image 491 is generated by reducing the stored image data at a predetermined reduction rate. The generated reduced image 491 and a plurality of function icons 51 to 54 corresponding to the reduced image 491 and corresponding to processing performed on the stored image data are displayed on a display section 17. When a user selects the function icons 51 to 54, displayed on the display section 17, on a touch panel, the processing corresponding to the selected function icons 51 to 55 is performed on the acquired and stored image data.
