摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for enabling determination of appropriateness of the state of disposition of an obstacle detecting sensor before the sensor is actually mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: The simulation system 10 carrying the obstacle detecting sensor includes a data acquisition means 20, a simulation object disposition means 26, a displaying means 32 and a display 16. The data acquisition means 20 acquires sensor data which express the position of a sonar being the obstacle detecting sensor and a detection area, and simulation object data which express the shape and size of a wheel stop simulation body. The simulation object disposition means 26 disposes the wheel stop simulation body on a virtual three-dimensional space so that the position and direction the body to the sonar are in preset relationship. The displaying means 32 makes the display 16 display an image wherein a detection area shape showing the detection area and the wheel stop simulation body are disposed on the virtual three-dimensional space.
