PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a semiconductive roll, which is used to obtain a crosslinking product suitable for the semiconductive roll having low specific volume resistance and excellent permanent compressive strain resistance. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the semiconductive roll includes an epihalohydrin based rubber and a thiourea derivative represented by general formula (1). In formula (1), R1, R2, R3, and R4are independently 1-8C alkyl groups or a cyclohexyl group, and n and m are independently integers of 2-4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
