The device has control elements (5.1, 5.2) arranged in parallel in axial direction of a damping unit roller or inking unit roller. The control elements are opened and closed by drives (7.1, 7.2) to adjust each of the damping unit quantity or printing ink quantity, where the drives are laid on the rollers with the control elements. The control elements are positioned parallel to each other to implement different regulating movements despite identical control over the drives, so that the quantities orderable on the rollers differ.
