THE METHOD FOR SCREENING INHIBITORS ON THE BINDING OF DDR PROTEINS TO COLLAGENS

A method for screening DDR(Discoidin Domain Receptor) and collagen bonding inhibitors is provided to improve stability of DDR2 proteins by screening the DDR while the DDR2 settles on a film of an insect cell and increase reproducibility by measuring the DDR2 and collagen adhesion through insect cell dyeing. A method for quantitively screening DDR(Discoidin Domain Receptor) and collagen bonding inhibitors comprises the following steps of: coating collagen on a cell culture dish or a surface wherein proteins are adhered; adding an extracellular domain of the DDR protein to the collagen-coated culture dish; immobilizing an insect cell adhered to the culture dish and dying the inset cell; and measuring degree of absorbance to quantitate the number of the immobilized cells. The insect cell represents sf9, sf21 or Hi-five.
