PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of decreasing generation of less color moireí. SOLUTION: A controller in the image forming apparatus reads profile data in increasing item order in main scanning pixels when the profile data are regenerated (S3-S6). A 128-th pixel falls into a transferring point P1 of profile data of Magenta (M) (S4). In other colors, it is detected whether a transferring point exists within the 128 pixels (S10). A transferring in the same direction is detected in +64 pixels as a transferring point P1 of profile data of Yellow (Y), and a transferring in the same direction is detected in +128 pixels as a transferring point P1 of profile data of Cyan (C). An intermediate point in the transferring points of these three colors (S11) is calculated. The profile data are changed so that the intermediate point is "192" (S12). COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
