PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter which secures a high deodorization capability at a low-pressure drop in the deodorizing filter for use in an air cleaner. SOLUTION: An absorbent molded body 1 is constituted by molding into a predetermined shape using slurry 5 prepared by mixing an absorbent 2, an organic binder and expanded beads, and by forming porosity 7 by heating and fusing the expanded beads after molding. The absorbent molded body 1 has the effect of providing the deodorizing filter which shows a high deodorization capability, has a small-pressure drop and matches a design.
